RNS D Installation Issues

Hi
I have just tried to install an RNS D into my 2002 Audi Allroad. I have a number of problems that I hope someone can help me with.
1. There is no DIS Display.
2. My ipod Connection does not work
3. There is no lighting on the Sat Nav
4. When the Sat Nav is running there is no guidance instructions and the unit says I am not on a digitized road.
I assume that 1 and 2 are a coding problem does any one know where I can find information on coding the unit.
I think 3 may be a wiring issue which I need to look at.
I am not sure why there are no guidance instructions I did look at GPS Information and the Lat and Long figures were changing as I drove the car so hopefully the unit is working.
Any advice would be helpful.

Did you install the TMC module? without that you will get no DIS information.
Did you run a lighting feed to the power plug?
Did you get a speed signal feed to the wiring loom?
Ipod connection should work, but maybe you have lost the ground pin which usually stops it working.

I did not get a TMC Module do you know what they cost and what is involved in fitting it.
I did not run a lighting feed as I thought it was contained on the plug as the old Radio had lighting.
Can you let me know where I might get the speed signal feed from.
I will check the Ipod connections again.
