    RNS-e Signle Din Retro Fit

    Hello Guys,

    I'm looking for a step by step guide for retrofitting RNS-e into a single DIN A4 B6.
    I know the Cage needs swapped for a Dbl din..was just hoping someone had a step by step guide ?

    You need to either find a new climate control unit or trim the edges down on your existing one, this will then fit below where it is currently, Fit unit and plug in wiring, then code to the code, Job done.

    Really easy to do

    Hi Paul,

    You get around I'm watching a few on Ebay, just waiting for the right moment and right priced unit to buy
    How much trimming is required of the climate unit ? i imagine it easy to make a mess of it.
    Is Vag-com needed for any coding ? or is it just a case of entering the code that comes with the unit, into the unit when it powers up for the first time ?
