Thread: Anyone know of any companies in the North West that can fit RNS-E to a 2002 A3?

Hi everyone,

My brother's selling his car and has offered me the RNS-E out of it, (he has an 04 A3), however mines only the 02 edition. I'm aware it can be done, but I'm useless with cars etc and would probably end up doing more damage than good. Does anyone know of any companies/places in the north west who would be able to fit it?

I can do it, but the A3 is the wrong shape, you really need an A4 unit. I can possibly do a swap for you and fit an A4 and take the A3 off you.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean you take the centre console from mine and put a different one in and fit the RNSE in? How much would I be looking at for that?

I meant modify the A4 unit to fit into the A3 dash like this one I did....

The link didn't work for me. If it fits/works ok then I wouldn't have any problems what it looked like really, more worried about the cost lol. Luckily I've already got the RNS-E unit.
