Audi A4 Avant Sound Upgrade Advice...

Hi,

I have an A4 Sline Avant 06' and want to upgrade my speakers. At the moment its non Bose.

Does anybody have experience of retro fitting Bose speakers/amp sub? Is this hard to do? Part number for speakers?

OR can anybody recommend speaker upgrades without having a boot sub/amp package.

Retro fitting Bose is a huge task as all the wiring has to be replaced, including the loom from HU to boot, all the speaker wiring and power for the amp. The sub also has to be replaced as well as all the speakers. For all that work you will get a very slight improvement in sound quality.
Aftermarket speaker upgrades on their own will provide little in the way of an improvement as you are limited by the feeble 2 x 20w feeding them from the HU and rear amp. You will also need adapters in order to fit aftermarket speakers Far more improvement additing a small sub TBH or upgrading the fronts and amping them.
