    BRIEF HISTORY
I purchased this car almost 4 years ago now with 66k miles on the clock.
All servicing and routine maintenance work has been carried out by me - anything more difficult has been carried out by either John @ Bedrock or Alex @ Alex MacLaren Motors. Both are local (to me) VAG specialists. It’s been a great car to own and after initially spending a bit of money it very reliable. It is fun to drive on A roads and pulls very well in each gear and also good for motorway miles. On a recent trip to Aberdeen I averaged 38mpg sitting at 65-75mph. Day to day commute sees about 30mpg for anyone interested!

I have a folder with most of the receipts from the time I have owned the car but sadly nothing before this.

    ENGINE/TURBO/COOLING
    Standard AMK (210bhp) engine
Bedrock Remap (AVA rolling roaded – 245 to 250bhp at the flywheel, sorry no print out as AVA don’t offer one!)
    Turbo replaced 2 years ago
All 4 coil packs replaced throughout ownership (genuine SEAT))
NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs (BKR7EIX)
Cambelt changed at roughly 70k miles
3” Downpipe and de-cat (merkat exhausts)
    Stainless cat back system (piper)
    K&N filter
    Forge 007 recirc valve
    New MAF sensor (genuine SEAT)
    Fuel filter (genuine SEAT)
    N249 by-passed

    TRANSMISSION
Standard 6 speed box with no noises/clunks/crunches etc
Clutch replaced at roughly 68k miles
Dual-mass flywheel replaced at same time

    SUSPENSION/HANDLING
    Replaced front shocks (genuine SEAT)
    H&R Lowering springs
    Powerflex rear wishbone bushes
    Powerflex anti roll bar bushes
    Powerflex Dog Bone mount
The other engine mounts are uprated too but no idea of make as these were done prior to purchase
    New drop links
    Both bottom ball joints replaced

    BRAKES
    EBC plain front discs
    DS2500 front pads
    Mintex rear discs
    Mintex rear pads
    O/S/R caliper replaced (genuine SEAT)

    INTERIOR
    Single pillar pod
Boost gauge (red light which dims with dash lights)
Alpine Stereo with Ipod/USB connection (in glove box)
Seats are in good condition with very slight wear to drivers bolster

    EXTERIOR
Anthracite powder coated standard 18” alloys
    Fabia rear wiper conversion
Bosch flat wiper blades up front
    LED number plate bulbs

    TYRES
    Continental SP3s on the front
    Continental SP2s on the rear

    SERVICING
    The car is serviced every 6k miles by me. The last service was at 102k miles and included;
    • Oil (genuine SEAT)
    • Oil filter (genuine SEAT)
    • Pollen filter (genuine SEAT)
    • Sump bolt (genuine SEAT)
    • NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs (BKR7EIX)
    • K&N filter cleaned and re-oiled

    BAD BITS
With the car being black and 11 years old there are stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet
There is a dent on the roof – previous owner said a lorry threw up a big stone.
2 or 3 small car park dings on each side from inconsiderate folk.
The rocker cover gasket could probably do with being changed at some point.
I did consider getting it painted didn't want to appear to be hiding anything by doing so just before selling.

These pictures are from yesterday, not last month/year etc and with no daft filters applied!
