    A4 B7 2.0 TFSi ATP Front Mounted Intercooler - £380

ATP Front Mounted Intercooler for sale. The intercooler was anodised in black and was test fitted on my car, however it did not fit behind the DTM bumper and so is now up for sale. I paid £550 plus £70 for anodising, its never been used only test fitted on my car. It uses a really high quality garret core.
    £380 ono

Quote taken from the ATP product info page"Performance gains come from a consistent 20-30 degree drop in peak temperature resulting in less knock and more HP and reliability due to the cooler charge. The new GT core also regains a lot of the pressure drop inherent in both factory intercoolers so boost response is better and the turbo works less and makes more power. In addition to the power gains, you can expect a smoother powerband, less hesitation due to heatsoak and the an engine that will be much happier even with “spirited” driving occasions. "

yeah read that on their website, however it doesn't tell you what gains to expect though, only that the temp is 20-30 degree lower...easy to say all that info without naming figures, is it 5BHP or 15BHP?? Just a fair amount of money for unknown gains I suppose..

Gains aside the drop in AIT temps is definately a positive for the turbo response and performance.
