Ok so after much deliberation I have decided its time to say goodbye to my beloved dtm :( due to a new job and a longer commute a diesel is necessary, I'll be absolutely gutted to see her go but needs must.
I wont go into detail regarding the spec of the car as most people on here will know what it is and will know that they come fully loaded, but heres the main points of interest;
Audi a4 DTM (1 of 250 made) in sprint blue
2.0ltr tfsi 220bhp
done just under 105000 miles
tax is due to run out but this can be negotiated in the final selling price
10 months mot
last mot had no advisories
full service history
Audi servicing till 55k
VAG specialist thereafter
one major service done at an independant garage around 70k, although not stamped in book i have the paperwork (£500 spent)
last service done at 98k
clutch and dual mass done at 98k
Cambelt done at 89k
two sets of keys both working
rs6 alloys in good condition bar one that is kerbed and would benefit from a refurb
tyres are in good condition and should easily see out this year
full size spare in boot (this is a DTM original alloy not a matching rs6 alloy)
comes with 2005 satnav discs
inpro chrome wing mirror covers from Germany included (i have the originals too)
led canbus drl bulbs included (never got round to fitting them)
forge blow off spacer fitted and included
I also have a decat for this car which can be negotiated in with the final price if desired (this is currently not fitted to the car)
Also there's a parrot ck3100 handsfree fitted in the car which was there when i bought it, however it started playing up a while back and gave up the ghost late last year, it will come with the car but whether it can be salvaged or not i don't know, do with it what you will.
The interior is in great condition, seats are all fine no rips or tears, never smoked in and all electrics work as they should. The carbon fiber trim, both internal and external, is also in great condition no marks or scratches.
the bodywork is straight and I'm yet to find even the slightest ding in the metalwork. the paintwork is in good condition but bear in mind this is an 8yr old car and therefore is not showroom condition, one thing worth mentioning is a scratch to the passenger rear wheelarch, roughly 2 inches long and at the one end there is a chunk of paint missing that is roughly half the size of my little fingertip or 1/3 - 1/2 size of a 5p! I am unsure how this happened but i do know it happened in tescos carpark so i can only assume that someone pulling out of or into the space next to me knicked my wheelarch with their bumper.
so i think thats just about it without writing an essay! Its a beautiful car and asi said before I'll be gutted to see it go off into the distance but I'd much rather it go to someone on here, an enthusiast who i know will look after it and appreciate it as I have.
£8000 I am open to offers, sensible ones please, no offers of swaps as i already have my replacement car and am therefore not in a rush to sell.
Any inspection welcomed, test drives can be arranged YOU MUST HAVE PROOF OF INSURANCE IF YOU YOURSELF WISH TO HAVE A GO.
