I'm not convinced Steve that that was a genuine S2, yes, I agree it has all the hallmarks of the 5 pot (P.S yours too can sound the same....) but I don't think they came in peppermint, didn't think that was an S2 colour, me thinks its more a conversion on a coupe quattro... Nice though, have to admit it.. makes me want my old 200 Turbo back, nothing better than a 5 pot on song...

It was an S2 colour, called aqua green and was from the lifestyle supplement.
Available from late 93 to end of production, was added to the supplemnt the same time as duck egg blue.

i love the 5 pot engines..

with a turbo and quattro it must make an awesome car...







just a shame about the B4 front end.. im just not a fan.
