Ian - what intake pipe? The one bolted along the side of the block? If so, I think it is made from mild steel so it might rust. I sprayed mine chrome - Don't know if that will reflect heat more but at least it looks better.
Not seen many black S2 coupes - got any more pics - and of your pipe?

2.3 non turbo 20v camshafts,kkk-k26/27 hybrid turbocharger...Rs2 fuel rail,5 Rs2 injectors,Walbro fuel pump,6bar fuel regulator,Chip by Venesz,TTR pistons,high performance intercooler with piping,S4 intake,stainless-steel handcrafted exhaustmanifold,ugraded Wastegate,and BOV by VMS...
maybe 420bhp in S2....
