Newbie RS6 Owner

Just bought an RS6 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm new to this RS stuff (Previous TT, A4 Sport Owner) so expect some pretty dumb questions...

Thanks for the kind words lads, much appreciated.

I pick the car up in a week so I'll report back when I have it a while, one thing I noticed on the test drive was that the no matter what gear configuration you were using (Auto, Paddles, Stick) it always felt like an "automatic", does anyone know if the gear ECU upgrade makes the paddles more responsive ?

I tried the sport mode but all that seemed to do was wait until the revs were higher in the range before changing up..

I think the sport mode just holds the gears on for longer, to keep the engine in the 'power' band making swifter progress. How much more quicker do you want to go lol.

Welcome- Sport mode also stops it changing up mid-corner.

Wait till you see the new RS4 engine. Everything I've heard about this motor tells me it's going to be very, very special.
