Re-insured the beast..went with Priv as they were the cheapest by far..
I was with Direct line and they want Ł935 but Priv want Ł565 big diff..!!
Norwichunion wanted Ł1800 shame on you..!!!

As we are similar ages what else are people paying..Ł565 seems well cheap to me..that is with protected no claims

mmm im currenty paying like 1200 for mine with 7 years NCB, but that is cause the ocmpany im with is a Jap insurance company as I used to haev an evo, done load of looking about and should be able to get it for about 600-700 all being well.. Be first time in 8 years I will be paying less than £1000
Worse year I ever had was about 5 years ago was paying a total of about £4k for insurance, but this was on 2 cars :-( never again

I'm was well shocked..I set a target of a grand insurance but couldn't believe these quotes sub Ł1000 then Priv said sub Ł600 I was really shocked..had this quote when I got the car but I had already paid for the insurance through Direct line so didn't bother swapping over just topped it up until renewel.Originally Posted by Randomjim

The RS is this year cheaper to insure then my Allroad??? no idea how or why but it is....
Also cheaper for me to insure RS then a B6 S4.

no idea makes no sense to me..RS was Ł14 more then an S6..insurance companies make no sense at all to me.
But I'm not complaining at all cheaper the better for me

Was it standard??? Think from memory they were 308BHP as the orginal ones were 286BHP..which in those days were big power...now that is nothing how times change..god I sound old
321bhp the evo's mate, I loved mine aswell, great cars, aside from the vanos issues LOL
yer was the 321bhp model, second day I had it entered a roundabout backwards.. those where the fun days... Also once it had a new gearbox done under warranty, pulls out the garage sideways.. then I got onto the Jap stuff, then fell in love with the RS6
lol about the same as me then mate I have had everything apart from skylines.
yer never had an r34, it was either the RS6 or R34... An the Audi won....
good choice..I have only ever driven 1 skyline and that was far too quick for it's own good..the guy said it was 800bhp with out Nox.
He also had a 800bhp W12 LHD LWB A8 it had 2 bottles of Nox in the back and was progressive...NOT THAT WAS SCAREY QUICK..didn't drive it was a passenger and never felt anything move so quick.
lol thats mad mate, quickest thing ive been in was a 550bhp evo 7.
It was good but still prefer my RS6
