Friction sound as I turn steering wheel

Hello all, I have a intermittent friction/grinding sound when I turn the steering wheel whilst driving? Weather conditions?

When your leave your car over night and drive it in the morning, especially when its cold does it feel like the tyres are dragging whilst turning ?

yes, its seems to be intermittent.. but am worried that it may be costly. i did wonder if it was steering fluid? but the levels are ok?

When there is cold mornings and i pull away from my drive i can feel the tyres dragging, apparently this is normal.

I have just replaced my tyres as the other ones have wore out, i haven't noticed them feel like they are dragging anymore.
