Another ceramic question

Just about to pick up my new (to me) RS4 out here in Spain.

Cars command big prices out here, my 2006 with 70,000KMS is coming in at 40,000 euros !!!

Anyway its what i want and the right spec for me.

Its got Ceramics (whitch to be fair i could do without !)

Not bothered about the Disks as there covered on warrenty till 200,000 KMS

how much are the pads ? Are they specific to the ceramics ?

Front Pads = £ 304.73

Especially for Ceramic Brakes.

what price are you looking at or ceramic brakes for the b7 rs4?

Pads aren't expensive for these brakes, neither are the calipers (normal B7 callies), it's the discs at c£2-2500 per disc...

Almost certain the RS4 Ceramic calipers are 6 pot and not the normal 8 pot. The caliper is from the same family as the Porsche Carrera GT rear

Heres some Carrera Gt Rears reconfiged to Audi Ceramic, converted to steel and running on an RS6 Disc

The ceramics are 8 pot.
It's exactly the same caliper as the B7 RS4 and C5 RS6...
