:uhm:Hi Guys,

I am one very happy new owner of a 2006 Sprint Blue RS4, but have a couple of niggles to sort out.

The drivers seat inflates correctly when you lift the buttons manually or press the sport button, however it seems to slowly release immediately too. It is as though the pressure can not be maintained.

Anyone heard of this problem and know what it could be ?

Thanks.

Gareth.

Well tbh with the issues you're reporting a good scan with vagcom diag tool would be good to alleviate any other worries, might show some faults to address like this one, but I would have the seat apart to check for any punctures in the part mentioned.

Can you hear any air leaks when its deflating, not sure how the air pump is setup if it pumps in/out or there's a release valve, I will check etka, but maybe its this at fault.

There's an air pump, solenoid & pressure switch in the back of the seat that controls the lumbar & I believe the side cushions, so could be any one of these really which is maybe why a scan of the car might be an idea aswell.
