How light??
Surface rust will dissapear the first time you brake, however if its any more than that beware!
can you not get the discs skimmed?
Torque of the devil in Uxbridge (middx) can do this for your
It might appear as surface rust and you maybe able to remove it with a brillo pad But Get them skimmed, its not too expensive but when it comes to brakes, its not worth risking it!
I can get them skimmed, but thickness of disc is the important part.
The rust was actually quite bad, so I never bothered with. Went with the Cayenne brakes, like davs4 has/had...
Who does a nice job of skimming by the way!
I need to get my discs reduced Dave by a few mm. Would I be able to get them done same day at yours? Drive up, take them off, leave the car at yours, get em done? Gonna be a right biyatch otherwise...
