Anyone had experience of upgrading original satnav system to incorporate TV? Dealer retrofit is a fortune!

My experiences of TV retrofits tell me that only the OEM system works well, all the digital TV addons have poor reception (although some may disagree). The price of the OEM TV tuner is £1188 new from a dealer so you can possibly see where they get the price from. They come up on ebay for around £300-400 now and then.
OEM systems will cost around £800-£1000 for the factory look and feel.
3rd party systems cost between £300 -£700 depending on what you go for.
