B5 RS4 FUEL MPG ADVICE PLEASE

Hi all im new to this forum, ive purchased a b5 rs4 but im not very happy with the mpg the car is returning, im getting 12-13mpg driving locally driving it normally, ok i know (when 1 buys one of these one shouldnt worrie about fuel) but cummon 12 mpg its a bit steep my 911 turbo 91 returned more than this. so if theres any body out there can can advice me pls help this car has had a MAF sensor about 1-1/2 years ago and there s nothing showing on vag com as faulty any help appreciated im sure these cars should return 18-22mpg locally.or any body can help me with vag com measuring blocks i.e testing sensors etc values on MAF sensor.

give MRC Tuning a call. they will do a health check for you for about 40 quid. and really know their stuff.....
Yes you should be getting around 20's might be a MAF or a lambda or so me other sensor feeding duff info....

really does depend how you drive it. i have seen as low as 180miles to a tank from full when driving like an ****, driving like a vicar I usually see 230-250 miles to a tank.

gunning it i've seen 4mpg on the DIS before

i get 18-20 mpg overall with mtm stage 3

I get on average 19-21 running around locally and anything upto 29 on a run.

On my stage 1, I always saw around 22mpg in town and 28-29 on the motorway.

my b5 2.8 gives me 180 to a tank MAX usually 160 -180 round town. ?!?!?!?! I'm guessing the tank capacity is the same for both car rs4 & 2.8?

About 21 mpg for mine with mixed driving. 25 on a run if lucky.
