Rs4 suspension refurb

Hi
Is it possible to get the standard suspension from an 06 plated rs4 refurbished?

Mate got told by Audi dealer that he'd have to buy new at a cost of about £700 a strut etc.

Any help would be great full he's based near Northampton if that helps!

You won't get it done by Audi, but I don't see why you couldn't get it refurbed somewhere else? Might be a bit tricky dealing with the DRC, but it has to be possible.

So it's I'd possible to refurb think its a seal leaking.

Who repairs them any recommendations?

Afraid not on recommendations... you're probably better trying over on rs246.com, it's got more of an active RS4 section.

give these guys a try, have seen good shouts online with regards to refurbishment for clio 182 sachs suspension (its a touchy damper!)

not sure if they have experience with RS4 items, but worth an ask.

i did try to post a link in this thread to a damper specialist, but i think for some reason the post has to be approved.

or look at sh loads are replaceing with aftermarket
iv just outed a full set with 4k on them for 200
