    Going to trade in for an RS4. what to look out for?

    I want to trade in my A4 for an RS4 but I thought I would do some research first for quality issues etc.
    I have read a few posts about carbon build up and suspension problems, can anyone enlighten me?

    are you looking at a b7 ?
    If it is a quite high mileage and it has bucket seats you might want to check the wear on the side bolsters.

    Thanks. Looking at B7 my2007. With around 50k miles on the clock.

    Gear box trumpet issue's.when its warmed up give it a few revs upto the red line or when on a test drive give it a good blast upto the red line and see if the clutch fully returns.Also a common fault is oil cooler pipes leaking.The little plastic clips securing the pipe can snap and after a while the joins can wear and start to leak.
