Hi guys, just two other things on the carbon issue, what parts are to be cleaned and would every year be a good time scale ?
Will it do the engine any long term damaged if left to longer time ? Cheers

As a8tech has said he's only seen ONE RS4 engine that needed cleaning.

IMHO regular cleaning could cause more problems that it might solve (taking things apart and refitting them will eventually cause damage). The risk of that is MUCH greater than the risk of damge through doing nothing - an "Italian tune" every now and then is probably the best thing you can do.

The whole issue of carbon build up has been blown out of all proportion IMHO.

My RS4 is nearly 5 years old, has never had any inlet cleaning done and still runs just over a 8 second 3k-8k rpm run, so it's still in rude health.
