Exhaust butterfly valve mod

Anyone done this mod? (disconnect vacuum pipes on exhaust and block off)

Makes a slightly louder exhaust noise (like the car is in S mode all the time)

Even when car is in S mode at low speeds and with little throttle the valve is not fully open.

Would want to go to a miltek system but don't want the car to be too loud and drony as I do a lot of motorway mileage.

Did the mod when I got home from work. Car now sounds as if it is always in sport mode. A good thing as I don't really want to go down the miltek route as I think that will be too loud.

Also noticed one valve was stuck shut so after about 20 minutes of tinkering and wd40 it freed off to the normally open position.
