    Oil Consumption...

    Hey All.

    My RS4 seems to use a fair amount of oil. In 4000 miles of motoring its eaten about 1.5 litres in order to keep the level correct. Is this normal for this high-revving FSI V8 or should I be worried?

    I do give the car a lot of stick and its red-lined numerous times pretty much every time it goes out.

    Runs fine, its just a bit thirsty on the oil front...

    No your RS does not have a problem, that's about right for oil consumption.
