Loving my RS3!
Just wondering if you guy's have a method for running this 2.5 litre beast in? Manual suggests no more than 2/3 RPM for first 1500 Km's.
I don't go anywhere near that until I at least have 90* oil temp. I have read that engines these day's don't need running in anything like they used to but I still want to make sure I look after it. I have been to about 6K in mine already without realising it as it rev's so fast!
What I have always wondered is how the engines cope with test drives when in dealer stock? A car like the RS3 is bought really for the performance so on a test drive people try that out. I know that when I test drove one I gave it some stick. In fact the dealer encouraged it!
What are you thoughts?
