Heres one for you..
You're driving along on the Motorway, the road is busy, you're cruising at 70-80 mph (Remember your speeding points!) Theres a van ahead some 500 - 700 yards, you check your mirrors, in the outer lane theres a car approaching slightly quicker than you (Normally a Bimmer/Mercedes) You think to yourself " I'll let him pass then signal to move out" BUT the approaching vehicle stays on your wing, not overtaking, not slowing, just holding steady there on your rear wing! The distance between you and said van is closing, closer, closer.. The Merc/Bimmer doesn't overtake, just holding there on your rear wing.... You are now less than two cars lengths off the rear of the van and still closing until eventually your forced to brake to slow down at which point the outside offender SPEEDS PAST!
WHY DO THEY PERSIST ON DOING THIS, RUNNING YOU INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER CAR/VAN? I mean you're not taught to drive like this, your taught to see the hazard and move out when safe to do so and overtake, not sit on the other persons wing, maintaining the same speed and run them into the vehicle in front!!
