I never said men were pigs or is that the term of reference you are choosing to adopt.

I'm not one to broadcast my personal life over the internet, yes I am recently separated after 7 years together but more his choosing than mine. However, in some sense I see it as a relief as I no longer have to live on egg shells and put up with his jealousy anymore but he does still try. I'm not looking for a replacement (not yet anyway) and want to enjoy my freedom for a while. Plus I have two gorgeous children to consider.

And just for the record, I have never cheated in my life yet still got accused of it, despite not particularly having a life of my own at any point during those years we were together.

Whilst im a decent-ish guy and i think my mrs would agree, i've been an absolute helmet at a couple of points in my 6 year relationship, and done some bad things that would probably fit me in to your 'pig' category. It probably accounts for 1% of our relationship, and im sure all these guys, especially the younger fellas, have stepped out of line and been a helmet too at some point.

So i suggest you tell us whats happened, and I will certainly offer my thoughts, being realistic and acknowledging the fact i havent been 100% perfect, im sure i could help you understand.
Sometimes when a guy steps out of line, or treats a women badly, doesnt mean he does it intentionally, its just something unfortunate that happens due to whatever the circumstances are at the time, people can change after all, or go through weird irrational spells.
Basically what Karl is trying to say is that he barebacked a lady boy whilst on holiday.

There are a handful of good men left to go around but don't trust the ones who say "I'm not like that, I'm different." The fact of the matter is, a good man rarely knows he is good and when he does, he won't really say it either... Can't stand mummy's boys myself... I think there is a fine line... you have your missus and your mum... they will both be number one ladies in your life and its a balancing act but at the end of the day... the wife should be the leading lady... and mum needs to be nice to her daughter in law because she has sex with the man who will decide whether mum goes into a nursing home or not... no one else should be allowed to get involved in your relationship as some mums boys often let the mum be part of the marriage... I had it bad because my mother in law was always sticking her ore into my marriage (oh how happy I would be to see her face on the back of a milk carton)... but it got so bad I had to cut ties with her and wife agreed with it... she really was an evil woman (#queue electric light orchestra, the evil woman#)... I think if you are looking for a 'decent' kind of guy it helps to look in different places... My wife tells me that every woman wants a rough cut or bad boy but they soon settle down and realize that those men cannot keep them happy... she found me after going through seven years of hell with different relationships... and she finally has the happiness and stability she deserves with me. It took all those bad men for her to realize what a good one is... I remember the first year of our engagement... she was surprised to find me sleeping there by her side in the morning... and was scared I would leave her... it took a lot of time to build trust... but I tell her everyday the most special words anyone can ever hear from her man: "I ain't going no where!"

Indeed. Many men whether intentional or not marry a mother substitute so that they can be looked after, have their meals cooked for them, soothe their brows when they get a cold and generally wait on them. Just note how many men of all ages but particularly the older who will sit at a café table whilst their wives go to the counter and collect the food and drink. Their sole manly activity in an attempt to prove their masculinity to the wife and their friends is to breed for fear of being considered a Nancy boy. Then they spend the next 20 years or so looking as miserable as sin, driving a crap old car and lumbered with expensive selfish brats and an increasingly overweight dowdy wife. Serves 'em right too.
Men are not complicated just less confident and less able to cope than a woman.

I guess they don't find that the least bit romantic, being shagged in a bug infested field, is sure to get any woman turned on lmao.
