Laziness or just arrogance when it comes to not making the effort to do things properly? Maybe reverse snobbery to avoid being thought of as educated or intelligent?

    ...aaaaand Breathe!

Wow ...and I thought I could be a grumpy old git at times.

I understand your dismay WAFTER, and agree that spelling\grammar from today's Yoot has fallen to a level below anything that's gone before, but it's only a forum post, not a letter to EIIR.

but alas in retrospect to the contrary mr english teacher i am probably old enough, if not in fact quite possibly your dad!
i am 36 and educated, and indeed know my grammar quite well to an extent of how to exercise it in a concise manner thank you very much!
just give me 100 lines and a detention and wind your neck in!
have you ever tried posting from a phone?, sorry, a mobile telephone with a poor 3g connection???????

yeah, me too!, so when the spell check kicks in, i do not really have the time to argue with it! and just agree!

Funny thing is, people will moaning and complain about people being lazy, arrogant and uneducated but does anyone consider it could be a learning problem or something else beyond their control?

I guess that's what I hate as well (I think I commented on **** like this a couple of posts up).
Just cause someone's spelling or grammar is not up to your level of standard, don't assume its cause they are lazy or arrogant. They, my self being one of them, might have problems with spelling, grammar and beyond their control.

Now TV. I got a free pass to watch tonight's game between the two mancunian teams, and it doesn't work!

Waste of space. You can't watch it on your Sky box either, I have to watch it on my laptop and stream it through the TV. Got 10 minutes of the game before it crashed.

    Boo!

I am currently hating the car parked across the road as the alarm keeps going off. Called the police who won't do anything but said to leave a polite note on the windscreen, which I did, with evo stick

ok today"s topic of hate are,
    thieves
    council tax
    moron receptionists!

    and this is why,
took my recycle bin out this morning early, the bin men emptied the bin as i was leaving the house, so did not really have time to bring it in off the street when i had a hyper springer spaniel doing back flips wanting to be out! so i left it until i returned!
returned home after our walk (3 hours later) to discover our bin had been nicked!
THIEVES grrrrrrrrr! dirty *** low life bin snatchers! a bin for christs sake!

so i thought i would give the council a ring to arrange a new one!
it turns out that they will give me one, but at a charge of £20
i explained that i had not lost my bin, burned it, customised it or used it for an experiment of any sort and that i was a genuine victim of crime here and all that i required was a new bin! a facility that THEY provide for a service that I pay for thanks to my council tax!
no joy, you have to stump up £20 for a replacement, simple as!
i was a tad angry by this and asked what i paid my council tax for?
and all i got was a load of council policy bobbins etc by a woman that sounded very stuck up!
all i want is a bin FFS!
i am not selling the things on ebay!
anyway, a little bit fuming, i worded a little email to the complaints dept of there website!
so let"s see if it worked! (i doubt it)
and if not, i shall phone the police and get a crime reference number for the council to deal with!
i am sure the paperwork that the police will have to deal with over this will ultimately cost over £20, plus the fact i will get a new bin out of it and will indeed validate my pound of flesh for my council tax i pay!

But you have gone through the proper procedure so thats ok, i will estimate that given a crime number that will have cost the tax payer £300?.....no joke once lawyers are involved if chez refuses to pay poll tax cos of absent bin it will be £1000s....

Managed to get it out after several mad-scientist ideas:
    - vacuum cleaner attached to thin hose (Fail 1: hose of appropriate diameter had lugs stopping it from fitting through hole. Fail 2: sans lugs, couldn't get enough suction on flat enough surface to lift it clear)
    - flexible wire fish with a magnet strapped to the end (Fail: bulb end seems to be non-ferrous)
    - wire fish tipped with a blob of very sticky tape (sticky side outward) was the eventual solution

My glory was short lived though, as the bulb came unstuck from the tape as I lifted it clear of the headlight unit... and it dropped into the fscking engine bay. It is now resting on the under-tray covering the sump.

I give up on today... *sigh*

I hate the mind games girls play. They're fun for a while, but get frustrating pretty quickly. I'm too old for games, let's just get naked and every one wins

Not all women play mind games. I don’t have the time or energy for them. If I like someone, I tell them. If I don’t see it going anywhere, I tell them. What’s the point in stringing people along?

From my experience, a lot of men are just as bad with the mind games. You don’t help yourselves either really because you seem to be drawn towards women with a hint of crazy...

How did I know someone would make a comment like that?

I think there are 4 types of women:
    - non-crazy who are lucky enough to meet a decent man & spend their life with them
    - non-crazy who get messed around by lots of crappy men ultimately turning them moderately crazy, or into crazy cat ladies
    - moderately crazy who play the occasional mind game, but don’t go out of their way to do it
    - absolute freaking nutcases who use mind games, power battles, emotional blackmail & any other weapon in their arsenal against anyone & everyone, especially men

1st type = nice normal women rare
2nd type = easy, unattractive or tries to hard to find someone
3rd type = attractive women who have strings of men to choose from
4th type = women who think they are attractive and better than everyone (usually women who try to cover up there uglyness)
