Thought it was just me, VM has been shyte for the last 3 weeks, since the introduction of the VM Hub. Us 10meg users seems to get a bandwidth drop, since the 10meg is not guaranteed, it's a maximum speed we can get at any one time!

£4 quid extra a month for 30meg uncapped though, or £48 extra annually, it all soon adds up!

I think people have different experiences with different providers. I wouldn't go near TalkTalk, but Sky was ok and I'm with o2 for broadband now and they've been spot on.

They are all good until they start playing up, and then they are all sh*te!

At work we paid over £200 per month for a business connection from a "specialist" ISP, and even they were crap as soon as there was a problem.

I am really happy with Virgin broadband compared to my previous two, Talktalk and BT.

It hasn't gone wrong yet though, so I might take a different view if it does.

Yeah, TalkTalk was terrible, the connection was so slow and nowhere near the advertised speed. And it didn't matter how many times I spoke to them, it stayed useless and most evenings was unusable.

They were cheap. But you get what you pay for.

I'm with Virgin and apart from a few niggles (which turned into a bit of a ball ache to sort) they've been ok. I would certainly rather stick my genitals in a blender than go near Sky ever again

Mate, there is nothing that would make me do that!

Sky may be bad, but at least they don't ruin your chance of a shag.

its does sound like they all fine until you have a problem. I've been with tiscali / talktalk for 8 years without any problems. Got 8meg package & I actually get that speed. I've no doubt just jinxed things....
