Thread: People that have 5 cars.

My neighbour is single, lives on his own, has 5 cars. And all of them are crap bar one.

Why? He is but one man! And they are not even classic cars! He would be better of selling 4 of them (keep the Spitfire that's ok) and buying one decent Audi.

That's what I told him. Because he wants to extend the length of his garage to have 3 cars in and he needs me not to object for planning permission. He will then keep the other 2 cars in council rented garages.

Sell the crappy Rover's and save money on extending your friggin garage to keep a couple of crap cars in. Arggghhh

Anyway, I feel better for getting that off my chest.

What are the cars?

Jojo has 5 cars I think.

Rover 75, Rover 25, Mitsubusjhi Colt, and an old Nissan

Maybe in his mind they're special to him, but are they all tax'd or SORN?

Talking about me again? Yes, I'm a saddo and actually own 7 cars in total, though 2 are not on the road, and I'm only insured on 4 of them!

I don't drink or smoke, so I spend my time and monies on my cars - simples.

Might need to sell a couple soon though, I seriously don't know why I got so many in the first place! lol It's not that I can drive all of them at any one time.

I think the taxman loves me more.

He has bought 3 of the cars in the last 3 years, 2 Rrovers that the local garage couldn't shift. Nice bloke, but bad taste in cars.

Anyway, 5 cars for one man, no other family. 2 are SORN.

He is now looking at a glass garage.

a glass garage if you realy dont want him have it just complain to planning office and if it goes through smash the glass garage simples lol

Its the people that live in a small houses with a driveway for one car, but park 3 others on the street that irritate me. Sometimes you cant move for cars around my way. If you dont have space for 4 cars, then dont have 4 cars!

I have one neighbour who would rather park his ****ty Nissan on his front lawn than go round the back of his house where he has a perfectly good driveway AND garage! Oh and dont get me started on people who have a garage but dont put the car in it - haha!

My missus had a go at me for 'hogging' the garage with a car! lol, she suggested we buy a house with double garage next, I said sure, means I can store one more cars lol... still in the same house after 2 years.

I have a garage and I have never put the car in it.

It's full of crap. No room for a car.

Same, next door complained about us for the all the cars but we use the double garage as a workshop for bikes my dads car and works van on the drive there for drive is full garage is full mine my sisters and my moms have to go in the street! there taxed, mot'd, insured and all nice motors so whats the issue! So we suggested if they did not like this they could move home

Wish I could put my avant in mine. But the garage is a stupid 3/4 length integrated into townhouse type and the car doesn't even fit !!!!!

So true, garages these days are built for storage only, fitting a car in is a joke, same as parking spaces, who designs these things, we're not all driving smarts are we.

I cant get this car over a kerb let alone up the slope into my garage :s
