audi q7 air con problem

hi i have a 2007 q7 and i have a problem with the air con.ive had it checked out by a garage who says there is enough air con gas in (so no leak)and the pressure is fine too,but it seems when u have it on the low settings it is blowing normal warm air and not the freezing air con air ,now i dont think im doing anything wrong control wise ,so can someone please help or do i have to go the dreaded expensive dealers !! thanks .

It could be the V2 fres air blower, I'm currently upgrading my Q7 to MMI 3G and one of the issues is a new air con control unit. Since fitting it the car blows warmish air on the coldest setting and has a fault with the V2 fresh air blower. I since worked out that the controller for the 2007/2008 cars were changed, so my 2010 AC unit cannot talk to the 2007 V2 controller, hence my issue with warm air.

So it could be you V2 fan or V2 fan controller is faulty, a quick scan with VCDS would show any errors.
