Q5 Dealer fit bluetooth car kit

Friend has just taken delivery of as new Q5 but car does not have the bluetooth interface fitted. Dealer has told him that this can only be fitted when car is being built in the factory. Does anyone know if this is correct as I thought he would be able to get this fitted by an Audi dealer.

Some dealers offer it through a sub contractor like myself. But the official line is it cannot be ftted unless done at the factory.
