Hey guys, new (ish) on here...been browsing awhile and seems I could finally do with asking some questions.

I have a Golf 4motion with an Audi S3 engine and running gear. I blew the turbo not long ago and was looking into going BT, but, its really out of my price range. I dont want to be left with something unreliable so think im going to go down the hybrid turbo route and try to run it 'safely'...

Can someone help me with which injectors to choose? I see someone on here called Speedy Steve has 440cc injectors, what make are these? Will they fit in the standard injectors seats in the manifold?

Pictures to come!

Now im rebuilding the engine with Scat rods to take whatever turbo I find...also upgraded the clutch to a 5 paddle clutch with a Fidanza billet flywheel...

Everything is new in the engine so will need to run it in if I ever get it back on the road again lol...hopefully in a week or two though.

Ow and I also had just fitted some Sparco Pro2000 seats, securon 6 point harnesses, compbrake top mounts and comp brake rear adjustable tie arms before it went bang...literally an hour before lol

Well what you don't see is the other side of the S3...lol Not much of it left where it should be...And it was almost as cheap buying an engine alone as it was a complete car...made sense to me!

like it!

should have kept the styling ala 4motion, would have surprised many people!! lol

what turbo are you going for then?

Looks good, so whats happened to the S3 now then??

Is it full Quattro as well??

Yes its 4wd. The S3 is still being broken and I have a few parts left...bonnet and a wing, tailgate and some other bits.

I went down the hybrid turbo route in the end... Heres some pics of the engine rebuild and it going back in (last picture is as of today):

Fidanza flywheel (I used a clutch specialist 5 puk paddle clutch to go with these, a cerametallic type with an uprated pressure plate)
