Hi all,

Not sure if anyone is clued up in this area, but, I'd like to start creating videos for upload with a mix of pictures, short clips and music backing.

What is the best program for me to get hold of? Any hints/tips?

TIA

Jim

Hello mate. Are you a Mac user? If so iMovie is pretty cheap as part of the package with iPhoto and works great. It lets you separate audio and video from different clips, quite precise editing, some good effects, titles, etc. It's a good package for the money.

If you want to get more serious have a look at the Final Cut packages, I think Final Cut Express is a kind of entry level package but is a fair bit more advanced than iMovie, so should keep you going for some time unless you're looking for really hardcore editing, in which case you need the Pro version.

Roxio Media Suite is a great tool
