Thread: Need advices to improve my photoskill!

So, here's a couple of pics of my car, what can I do better?
Currently I'm just having a Fujifilm S6500fd, but I'm planning to get a Nikon D80 or something like that.

Hi there mate, nice photos. The only thing I would say is that the background is sometimes as important, if not more so, as the subject matter so things like road signs, other cars and drab industrial estates might detract from an otherwise awesome shot. Also I tend to crop a bit tighter but I suppose that's personal preference. But all in all they look good and you should keep up the good work.

as has been said below really, but the shots you've posted are by no means rubbish!.

With a black car its quite easy hide a bit of detail on them when taking pics, perhaps try using the flash a bit to try and lighten up the dark areas on the car to bring out a bit more detail?.
