    Castle Combe (14th Oct) - 11 images

We attended Castle Combe yesterday! Some images from the day shown below.
Apologies if the images are on the dark side, the weather was not very kind for photographs!

It was a fab day and you got me in the pics too, car with 9 in the window.

Are you the chap who was hanging out of the van going around the track taking pics too? With the D400?

Unfortunately not, we were watching on the raised bank, located close to the entrance to the track from the pit-lane.

    Excellent shots!

I wonder if you'd mind letting us know what lens you use? I'm guessing it's f/2.8 or something like that (maybe even lower prime/L?) because it looks like you had pretty decent aperture and shutter given the woeful light...

    Again, great work!

    Regards,

    Rob.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
All images were shot on a Canon D60 with EF75-300mm USM lens, using a mixture of ISO100, 200 and 400.
From what I remember, I varied the shutter speeds throughout ranging from 1/125 to 1/750 to get decent aperture.

I'd like some 'L glass' for sure in the future though

    All the best,
    Mark
