Thought I'd share some pics of my S3, which I sold last year. I was taking photos to put into the 'for sale' ad and got a little carried away

These have been messed about with in Lightroom... Originals in the ad were not touched - I thought it would be a little misleading.

It's just a Nikon D60 + Nikkor 16-86mm DX lens, hand-held with no flash. I had to push the ISO to 800 and then get rid of the noise in Lightroom, with a bit of post-processing trickery.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a D5100 or similar, but having trouble justifying spending the money on something that is going to be marginally better than what I use currently.

Very nice. I love the 8L S3's. They've not been bettered in my opinion.

What about a second hand D700? Probably the finest all-round body Nikon has made and I've seen them go for as little as 700quid recently.

Stumbled across this thread while searching for something else I posted a while back - I miss her so much
