I have just bought a Panasonic Lumix LX5, amazing quality for such a simple to use camera. You should look at them.

Sony digital camera is the best among all the companies. Believe on me and buy the Sony camera without hesitation to get the good results in respect of photography. Ten mega pics camera of Sony company will be the best camera to meet your requirements.

sony nex 5 is very good but quite limited, essentially its a big digital cam. if thats wat u after then great. if u want something u can change the lens with n add accessories, customise it, then you need deeeeeep pockets lol. very quick good movie and very sharp, low noise pictures. can come up a little short on manual controls tho. and flash is terrible. hope that helps =]
btw the panasonic lx5 is amazing!
