Thread: February Photography Competition

This months Theme was Black & White.
Had 4 entries, which is not to bad for the first competition.
I hope it will pick up in time.

The winner with the most votes get to pick the theme for next month competition.

I wish my camera skills were as good, suppose the camera helps? I'm only using a Sony Digital camera which I'm guessing isn't as good as a DSLR?

Its the camera, the person behind the camera and post processing skills.
Its not all down to the camera.

The camera must help to some extent surely, I wouldn't be able to get that image from my digital camera?

Yeah it does help but you could be worse photog in the world and own the best camera in world, does not mean your images will be as good as the worlds best photog with a compact camera.

You could get the same pics as above or at least close with your camera and some editing skills.

I saw this competition but simply didnt have a time to shoot and edit any photos. Will definately enter the next comp fo sho.

Also i agree with compact cameras, they can take pretty decent photos given the right viewpoint and editing

Shame there weren't more entries/voters. 39 votes from just over 19,000 active members is pretty poor, or are there only 39 of us sad enough to look outside the 8P forum . Oh well, maybe next time. Well done to all those that entered, thanks to all those that voted, and an even bigger thanks to Axios for setting it up. I really hope it grows from here on.

I'm happy it had some interested and hopefully it will grow.
