    Service Schedule Required

    Hey Guys,

Can you advise what the recommended service schedule is please for my A4 ?

    Its an '04 (B6) 2.5 TDI Avant Quattro (180PS) on 113k

Audi in Crewe are trying to tell me it needs a cambelt replacement, brake fluid change, aircon service, major service, new tyres, full 4 wheel alignment etc etc etc.....

Personally, after they robbed me of my years MOT Insurance buy booking my car in for an MOT on the day it had expired, they knew full well that the insurance policy would have expired on the MOT cover.

I'm not denying that they may be advising me that a cambelt replacement is due, but they for definate wont be getting my business now or at any point in the future.

So how often does it need a minor service (milage / years)

How often is it recommended that the cambelt get replaced ?

Also, how often do you recommend that a MAF Sensor get replaced as the car has loads of flat spots and doesn't appear to be driving very smoothly or economically for that matter.

    Cheers,

    Scott

If Cambelt is due every 5 years or 80k, then I shouldn't be due one until June 2013 or 160k ?

I'm currently on 113k and Cambelt was last replaced at 82k (Although this wasn't at a Dealer)

So essentially, whats the full rundown service schedule for my car ?

    This is what its had so far;

    10/02/05 - 18526miles @ Bury St Edmunds Audi
    14/12/05 - 36757miles @ Bury St Edmunds Audi
    07/09/06 - 49497miles @ Vindis Audi, Cambridge
    09/05/07 - 61960miles @ Bedford Audi
24/06/08 - 81649miles @ Just VW Audi (Warwickshire) inc CAMBELT
    26/02/09 - 89992miles @ P. W. EURO PARTS LTD (Halesowen)
    27/08/09 - 99454miles @ Crewe Audi (Long Life Service)

I'm trying to save as much costs as poss as were looking to sell and dont want to be forking out unnecessarily. (Already got Aircon, Brake Fluid Service & x4 new tyres & 4 Wheel Alignment required)

    Thanks in Advance,

    Scott
