mate has an 02 model and the glow plugs needed changing but one has broke in the head and they reckond 1100 quid to change but for the meantime he has changed three but my mate says its struggling.
Any (cheaper) solutions would be grateful thanks

I thought this was a common problem, have you searched the mondeo forum for an answer ? You could use some extraction tool but it depends on how its snapped or even contact your local diesel specialest to remove it.

Yeah there are ways depending on (as said) how it's broken and how brave you are... A mate of mine drilled a bit of the centre out of a plug on his focus and managed to grip the rest to bring it out... I guess there's got to be something to try before parting with all that cash! ...Plus I suppose he'd have to do something VERY wrong to mean spending any more...

Hope he manages to find a more economical fix!
