My drivers wing was resprayed on Friday after the ICE altercation. The sprayer said I can't polish/wax it for at least two weeks and I can't use Turtle Wash'n'Wax on it.

Since I also have some AutoGlym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, can anyone confirm that is safe to wash it with that over the next fews weeks?

Thanks.

I've always bee told to leave respayed paintwork for a couple of months before waxing because it is still softish.
New from the factory is OK from the off because it has been baked without all the trim in place so they can go hotter and hence the finish is harder.

Hi Foggie. Yep, I'm going to leave it for more than the 2 weeks, probably about a month or so. It's just for washing though, I want to make sure the AutoGlym stuff is fine to use /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just got some Meguires wax the other week to, can't even use it just now!
