    HID Headlights

Hey everyone I'm new here, and let me start by saying I don't own an audi, although I sure wouldn't mind...

Anyway, the real reason I joined this board, I wanted to find out what audis have HID headlights. I am trying to get some and custom fit them into my headlight assemblies on my kia rio. so if anyone would like to tell me if their car has HIDs that would be awesome.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

    Re: HID Headlights

Hi Nick ---- sounds like your doing a similar thing to me --- Im trying to put HID into a Golf Rallye headlight.

I think all relativley new Audis have option of HID ie

TT (225 BHP) S3, S6, S8 as std a,dd option across the rest of range.

Although they all may look the same (the parabolic reflector inside) they are all different so you would need to try to match up the reflector unit - however I dont think your headlight has such a reflector (from the outside it looks like a domed magnifying glass) -

You can get kits for your car but be careful as they arent always that good + from a legal point cars with HID in some countries require self leveling mechanisms and headlight washers for themto be road legal.
