We have a new gallery! We are now using a cool piece of software which links into the existing audi-sport.net user database /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The direct link is Gallery! but you can also reach it through the link to the Gallery from the drop down menu bars at the top of the screen.

It's taken about 2 days of solid work to get this up and running (embarassing I know, but John and myself aren't programmers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Here's a quick guide on how to use it:
How to use the Audi-Sport.Net Photo Gallery
Categories
We've divided the Gallery up into separate categories for you post your photo's in: <ul type="square"> [*]Personal Galleries [*]Car Pic's Gallery - this is divided up by Car Manufacturer and is for you to put photo's of your pride and joy! (That's the car /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif ) [*]Wallpaper - this is divided up by car manufacturer [*]Technical Gallery - here's where you can post your rolling road pics, schematics, rolling road graphs, work in progress...... [*]Events (Meets, Shows, Races) [*]General - for anything else!
There's a full user guide here: Photopost User Guide but a few quick tips are:

Quick Tips
<ul type="square"> [*]You should already be logged in as yourself, but if you aren't for some reason login by clicking Login in the top right hand corner. This is important, as Guests have less rights than logged in users.
[*]Click on the area you want to put a picture (e.g. Car Pic's, Audi)
[*]Then click Upload Photo in the top right. Then just fill out the details; put a title, description and keywords if you want, but importantly: make sure the Category in the drop-down box is correct otherwise the photo will get uploaded somewhere else and you won't know where! Finally click Upload/Submit at the bottom of that screen and your pic will be uploaded.
[*]At the moment JPG's are the only file format supported
At the moment you can put comments about the photo's, but please keep it clean and nice otherwise the facility will be removed.......

This is definately a step up from the previous gallery software (which didn't take too kindly to us moving the server, i.e. it didn't work properly anymore /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif) as it's tied into our user database and has a better structure to it!

So get on and post your photo's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dancing.gif
