Wow, a real wolf in sheeps clothing!

Was behind one on the motorway in crawling traffic. Couldn't tell what it was due to dirt on the back of it.

We got to the exit slip road, wow, what acceleration!! Left me napping I can tell ya.

It was only later on in traffic that I got up really close to see the badge and the name.

But from behind, I just could not tell what it was.

Depends which model it was, IIRC they've just started putting a flat 6 in some of the higher models.

The first ones used to have either the 2.0 flat 4 or a 2.5 flat 4 but you could get an import that had a turbocharged lump (B6??). This is all from memory as I worked at a Subaru dealers for about 4 years up until about '99 (albeit as a lowly valeter but had plenty of fun in the Imprezas!!) so not that clued up on the latest versions.

If it was that quick it was either a 3.0R Bspec uk CAR, or a bi-Turbo import. Both quick, but fuel economy unbelievabe! (poor)

i was considering one of the 2.0 twin turbo but comfort is no where near audi, interrior was sh!te
