Thought I'd start this little topic off forgive me if it's been done already!!
I started off with a mini 1000 which used to jump out of gear, I discovered the engine wasn;t actually fixed to the subframe and everytime I accelerated the movement of the engine pulled it out of gear!
Then I had a ser111 SWB landy good fun did lotsa off roading in in mostly in places I shouldn't have gone like on other peoples land but i was young. It also had lots of welding
Annother car I had was an FSO 1300 that was a pile of poo it had all round disc brakes which constantly seized up, mice living in the engine bay and glove box, yes mice. Eventually they ate most of the back seat that was the last straw. The speedometer was like a flourecent catapiller which crept along the dash only slower than an actuall caterpiller could creep along the dash. Sometimes the lights worked sometimes they didn't could never find the fault, replaced bulbs fuses despite not needing to, replaced the switch inspected the wiring. Only two of the windows opened one rear and the front passanger, I fixed them numerous occasions but with an hour or so they'd not work again. It was truly hideous car by far the worst car in the world
then had an auto Ford Orian, terrible but luxury compared to the FSO, then a Mondeo, Espace, Fiat Ullyse, another Mondeo only a few years old that one very nice car. vectra, 406, Honda accord CDTI very nice car, Volvo V70 D5 very very nice car but It got killed in a flood a few weeks ago and now the A6
So join in with your car history
