If my car was not black i probably would of got the 09 lights.

I think they will suit white esp one like yours with the Black grill etc!

Well new kid says it all lol, with new home in Italy, gotta go back & forth aswell for some work, but yeah not to bad, went to bed at 6.30am this morning, what else can I say, havnt touched the car in weeks, which is slightly worrying lol, priorities change dramatically but not in a bad way may I add.

I think the 11's look to OTT prefer the 09 they dont go with grey it doesnt look right ...

They should have made them in a similar style to the A5, I don't like A3 rear lights, they all look a bit dated (much like the rest of the car I guess)....roll on new A3!

The 09 were an improvement on the 03, but the SB ones are far nicer. Maybe the new 8X will have LEDs.

yeah love the lecky handbrake on the passat. Pretty sure all new Audis have led rears now so its pretty much 100% that the new A3 will. (A1 has them)

RE SB rear lights, when I was sitting with my bashed tailgate I did wonder about test modding it to see if a bit of work could swap lights but its the potential work on the body that was scary LOL

Feck me Ew, moddng the body to fit those lights would be a *****.

Wouldn't suit the yobs, it's impossible to do a handbrake turn with the electronic handbrake...not that I ever tried doing it in mine of course

I think your right Mr Mad, looking at the pics posted earlier in the thread, the Red of the edge of the lamp (where it sits in the rear quarter) would be a nice contrast, more so than the tinted look of the MY11's

There should be a photo on here of Khufu car with the new rear lights. Pm him for a photo as its the same colour as yours.

Get the 09 lights they will suit better and are cheaper.

Unsure mate as i have the 09s and I dont think i would change them for the new 11s.
But thats probably me being biased lol. either way both good rear lights one light and ones darker. Ones cheaper and ones more expensive lol. Get some one to photoshop your car or just pm khufu for a photo of his car.

the part number for the MY11's is at the beginning of the thread. I dont know the MY09's.

Its only the letter at the end of the part number that changes. So the 'c' is the MY11, 'b' is MY09

Well I had the MY09s but decided on the MY11s. TBH loved them both, each as good just the 09s are lighter than the later ones. All personal taste.

My lights arrived from TPS yesterday!!!

Haven't seen any pics of these on a Black A3 so i thought i'd post some pics to help someone who is making the MY09 or MY11 decision!!

does anyone have a pic of the my11 rear lights on a red a3 as i have the red/black theme going on and was thinking of getting a pair and getting rid of my09 ones.
