    A3 Kerb Appeal !

Trying desperately to blame the wife.....................she was in the car after all.................. I must have been distracted (no not that way, however she does still turn my head).........................she did say something, just as I was turning the wheel ............what was it..........................it put me off my game.........................................it must have been the reason...................that's why now I have a scratched alloy..............what was it...........................oh yes I remember........MIND THE ALLOYS NEAR THE KERB !

What can I say - better me than her really !

Having just paid £160 to get one of my S3 alloys re-cut after a bit of lazy parking I feel your pain.

However rim protectors could end up doing more harm then good...

You've linked to a three year old posting though and I believe that there's been at least one modification to them since..

They are ok, I've had the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy2 with rim protection and they are handy but if your really worried alloy gator could be a option.

Or be careful and don't park near curbs haha
