Does anyone know if my wife can go in and sign the finance papers for me as I'm not home at the moment. I'm due to pick the car up on Tuesday and would like it done before I get back as it will save time waiting around.

if its in your name you sign

dont know of any company that would let anyone else sign.

If the agreement is in your name I would have thought yours is the only signature that they will accept. Most organisations will not even talk to my wife about an account that is in our joint names because I am the 'primary' account holder.
 
I would give them a call, are you in a position to get them sent electronically, sign and send back to them?
 
I've signed Audi finance documents and sent a scanned copy back to the dealer with a copy of my driving licence twice now.
