Another Audi extra. (I mean toy)

Came across this almost new Audi bicycle in Germany and purchased it to add to my toys, fits nicely in the 8V SB

    Love it!
    That will be really collectable!
I would not use it personally and store it!
May i be so crude and ask what you paid for it?

Car manufacturers have had branded bikes made for them for years, both road and mountain bike but as far as I'm aware none (not even Porsche) has turned out to be a collectable or an investment. They don't make them themselves but just brand some one else's bikes. the one in question isn't a high spec bike.

There is quite an increasing number of classic mountain bike makes that are an investment. Such as Klein and Yeti in particular.

See link, this is a bike owned by my son and is what you need to buy to invest in bikes.

Are you just using it to poodle about on? If so then it should be fine but looks a bit heavy. If you intend to ride downhill it may be an idea to get another bike as you do get what you pay for and I would only trust reputable bike brands.

i know what you mean, i believe schwinn has been making bikes for BMW for years, but i have never seen one in the flesh!
and the op bike, although not very high spec has exclusivity as will be a rare thing!
in particular in say 20 years time if it were in mint condition!
you posted that winning old D.H. bike? yes that will always be a collectors item because of it's herritage etc, but just take a look at what bog standard raleigh burners go for today! never mind a desireable BMX like a skyway or a redline! mega bucks!
so, i think it will be worth a bit in years to come!, even though i am unsure who makes it as said above, it has dodgey welds going on so may not be a very good manufacturer or not been hand built in yorkshire like my orange patriot was!
however this audi below WILL be collectable and sought after guaranteed!

Sorry, I just can't see it. Porsche, Ferrari and others have sold carbon odd looking design bikes like that in the past. Try and find one?

Now a factory Honda Downhill bike, that is rare and would be worth a fortune if you could find one.

No problems then, looks like a smart bit of kit. When I saw it was full suspension I was worried you might break some bones going down a trail
