Audi complete wheel protection?

I have been offered complete wheel protection and wondered if it was worth taking out on an s line? alloys look like they would scratch easily!

Alloys get chipped/scratched most often by kerbing them. Does it cover kerbing? If not I wouldn't bother (and I speak as someone who doesn't have cover and kerbed a 18 day old 184 quattro s-line this morning - grrrrrrrrrrrr). New rim is £523 if you need to know.....
