strange hissing noise?

Just put the car onto the drive and noticed a strange hissing noise. Turned the radio off and air con off, noise was still there. I got out and walked around the car and it seemed to come from around the passenger rear wheel area. So much so that I thought it may be the tyre. I switched the engine off and no more noise.
Any ideas?
 
Yeah could be fuel pump. Its strange that i have never heard it before. However it is back with Audi to have the paintwork sorted again, so have asked them to check it out.
 
Could it be the fuel cap? Sometimes when I go to fill up I get a rush of air when I release the fuel cap. I have noticed on my last A3 you could sometimes hear it hissing after a journey. Easy to check, next time you hear it, release the fuel cap and see if it stops
 
Just had same hiss from rear of my a4 2.0tdi b8.5 2012 hope it's not fuel pump old post I know
